"As I work, the distinction between real and imagined blurs and the work becomes complex."
I work with a variety of media. My painting and assemblage work is narrative. Real and imagined stories are my source material. As I work, the distinction between real and imagined blurs and the work becomes complex.
Drawing nudes from life, using bamboo stock, brush, and ink give me a sense of freedom. Other forms of art: Portraits and narratives with cigar boxes.
Graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts. Studied painting under Guy Anderson, George Tsutakawa, Alden Mason, as well as portraits with Ned Mueller.
