Hummingbird Island Farm is a cut flower garden and floral design studio on Guemes Island. We grow hundreds of varieties of beautiful and unique plants- annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees- to use in our designs. We offer seasonal wedding design with our very own blooms! As well as seasonal bouquet subscriptions for weekly local delivery, fresh floral arrangements for special events, dried flower botanical wreaths and wall hangings, and holiday wreaths.

Cedar, gardener and floral artist, grew up on Guemes Island. After spending many years away, she was drawn to come back home and raise her children on the island as well. Cedar has always enjoyed nature and creative endeavors of all kinds- including watercolors, hand built ceramics, and fiber arts. Any project becomes a chance for art and creativity and she loves to include handmade details in her floral design work like her painted watercolor cards and gift tags.

Cedar’s mother and gardening partner, Joan also lives on Guemes. Joan has a lifetime of organic gardening experience and helps Hummingbird Island Farm grow healthy plants, creating not only a rich variety of material for design work but a lush habitat for pollinators and other wildlife.
