About the event
The week of Aug. 17-22 Daniel Ortega (guest artist) and Bob Anderson will be making art from "found" materials at Earth Spirit Studio at 6966 Holiday Blvd. and available to assist participants creating their own art piece on your schedule. FLEXIBLE Schedule: Mon. Aug 17: (optional) 10 a.m. meet at Guemes dock parking lot for beach walk to salvage usable materials. Bob's truck will take your "finds" to the studio (or your vehicle to your workplaces). Ocean/beach flotsam is prime source for weathered plywood, and interesting shapes as bases for your work, as well as wild shapes for attachments and your first "inspiration". Join the group or search on your own. Ask me questions.
