Devon LeBoutillier
Anyone who has set foot on Guemes Island has likely seen examples of her work. As a matter of fact, much of what you see on our website – guemesislandart.org – is compliments of Devon.
Devon is a graphic and web designer who has done a lot of work for Guemes Island organizations, businesses, and events. You can find her designs all across the island, from event posters, logos, and merchandise, to websites and Facebook posts.
She works in a variety of themes from artsy and fun, to modern and clean. The most important part of her work is to create something truly unique for her clients; something that stands out from the crowd. “It is very important to me to create a personal relationship with my client’s so that I can give them a design that is truly unique to them and only them” according to Devon.
Devon moved with her parents from Redmond to Guemes Island in 2013 and has been involved in many activities ever since. Not only does she create eye-catching designs for island organizations, she also volunteers her time bringing joy to the young people of Guemes. She visited Guemes frequently as a kid so she understands what island life is like for the young. When the pandemic cancelled trick-or-treating activities, Devon became the creative genius behind Boo Boxes, which are boxes full of candy and toys that are handed out to Island children at Halloween.
Devon attended Western Washington University and would spend her summers on Guemes. After graduation in 2018, she moved back home and enjoyed almost every second of her time spent on Guemes.
When Devon is not working, you can find her playing video games until 2 am, binge watching Netflix shows, playing with her parakeet, or enjoying time with her boyfriend.
